Dear Danny, as you can see, is a Cocker Spaniel! and is looking for his new forever home.

Danny is 2 years of age and has been neutered and is chipped.  Danny has a fear of children, so NO children.  He has good recall and is fine with other Doggies.

He looks such a sweetie. 

My 72 year old FIL who has recently been bereaved is considering getting a rescue dog as he is lonely. He is very good with our dogs and I was wondering if there is a human age limit when adopting a rescue?
Danny looks like he needs some one who could give him lots of love and attention.

Best to phone the Rescue concerned to ask them, as it might vary from Rescue to Rescue (and might even be dependent not on age, but on fitness and general health).

sometimes nothing, but if dogs aren't socialised with children then they can be fearful if only because of their size and noise, which is why even if you haven't got kids you need to socialise your dogs with them
