Alfie is a 20 month old Golden show type Cocker, who needs a new home as his family can't cope with him any more. He has two good walks a day, but seems to need more attention and they can see that he is frustrated. Part of his problem may be that he is not getting any continuity from the four members of his family. He growls when guarding his food and some of his toys. He tends to protect the lady of the family and will nip her if she pays attention to the grown up children and ignores him. He is not used to children or cats, but is good with other dogs and has been to training classes. He pulls on the lead, but is better on a harness and can bark at other dogs when on the lead. He will come back eventually if off lead. He normally travels OK in the car. He would be best with someone who is around most of the time as he sometimes chews the furniture.
