BARF Diet - Puppies
« on: March 26, 2007, 12:44:14 PM »
I am seriously considering starting Maisy on a BARF diet.  She has so far turned her nose up at any dried food, including biscuits as treats.  She is thirteen weeks old and since she has been with me has had chicken and rice, so I would like to start varying it.  Where do I start?  I have looked up a couple of BARF websites but wanted to know if it is ok for a puppy of Maisy's age?  Also where would a get a chicken back from? would the butchers sell me bones?  Do you take the meat off the bones then let them eat them as "afters"  :005: or do you just give them the meat on the bones as a meal!?!?

Questions questions questions!
