Particolour colours
« on: June 18, 2014, 06:34:38 PM »
I'm hoping to show our cocker puppy but as she is maturing she is developing some tan colour to her coat.  It is just in her bib/neck amongst the traditional blue roan colouring. I'm worried this will jeopardise our show ring chances

Any advice? Comments?

Could you post a photo of her, showing the area that's changing colour? I wonder if it's just some sort of staining from her collar if that's where it is.

I asked the breeder and she suggested changing the food... We changed from eukanuba to a raw diet and the brown/tan colourisation has now grown out.. I think it's really bad that the food colouring in this dog food can do that !!

I am not supprised at all. Eukanuba is a very bad food. My first cocker got skinproblems as well, I didn't know it had to do with the Eukanuba.  :dunno:
Now they all get raw diet.
