Does anyone have this game? Our disk 2 has got damaged. EA Games will replace but at a cost of £7.50 plus p&p and it'll take 28 days. I wondered if any fellow member had the same game and would be willing to copy it or lend it to me. Happy to cover costs of course.

Sorry Pammy, just checked with Beth (who is actually playing Sims right now :D )and she says she has every one except that one    Then her face lit up.  She's being asked by everyone what she would like for her birthday and she can't think of anything.  So, thank you, guess what's top of her list

So, if you can wait until the 24th May looks like we could help out ;)

Steve writing...

You may find that the CD is copy protected in some way.. I know a lot of these games software people are getting very good at preventing people from copying their CDs.

Maybe easiest/quickest to pay the £7.50... or see if you can pick up a secondhand copy on Ebay or in one of the games shops that specialise in trading games?

:D Thanks guys - I've got a friend from another forum sending one over. If all we do is get it installed that'll do the trick. Copying it's a bonus ;)

So glad we could help with Beth's Birthday list to Mary - result!! :D

There's a shop in Chorley, so I'm sure there are others about and it can repair scratches on disc's for £3. We had to have GTA San Andreas repaired shortly after we got it because the boys knocked the PS2 machine over with the disc inside it.

Toys'R'Us used to do this too, don't know if they still do.

It was her birthday today and she's so happy with it    Unfortunately, having school, family dropping in and then basketball practise she's only managed to play on it for about half an hour
