Data Leads

i went out yesterday and bought data leads so i can connect my mobile to the pc and download pics off my phone,nouts happening? :(
ive been back to the shop now 3 times and all i get is a new data lead pack :angry:
the man said it must be my pc but my daughter has had her mp3 player on with no problems :unsure:
can anyone solve this confusing problem please ;)

Depending on the phone, PC and Operating System on the PC, you may need some software to make the connection between the two work.

You may find help on the website of the mobile phone manufacturer - if not, let me know the make and model of phone and the Operating System you are using (usually windows, but I will need to know which version) and I'll see if I can find anything  :)

hi iowlass,ive just been on the nokia site and sent an email.
my mobile is a new nokia 3220,the pc is a dell with windows xp

Just been to the Nokia website - you need to download their "PC Suite" from here for the phone and the PC to comunicate  ;)

hello again iwlass,been there done that now saying phone not connected? :huh:
the lead he gave me is a dku2.nokia said i need a dku5 :angry: so its back with the 3rd set of leads on monday morning with a print off of the lead i need and hopefully he has it in :(
