We have a radio station that plays on our laptop and the only thing I have heard to suggest what it is is a mention of 'Mania TV', the accent is American.

We can close ALL programs down yet still there it is

Anyone any idea what this is? or how it got there? and how to turn it off before I pull my hair out?

I have just searched and found a site - www.maniatv.com - you can watch mania tv live and that is what we're hearing on our laptop all the time but we've never been to the site and certainly don't have it open when we hear the music $:-\$

I can't listen to any of my own music until I get rid of this

Have you opened up Task Manager? You can usually shut down rogue prog's that way

Press CTRL, ALT and Delete together and that opens up Task Manager

There was nothing on the main task manager page but I looked on the processes tab and couldn't find anything that looked it. Saw Kazaa Gold which I cancelled months ago, deleted it as I know I don't want it and the music stopped

Feel like I've gone deaf

Let's hope it doesn't come back.
