Wow, that is really good Michelle, can it be done without straightening the edges IYSWIM.  If not that is fantastic and more or less what I was looking for.

I think I know what you mean Annie, but it would mean cropping off Archie & Jade's toes.



Oh and I did it with Microsoft Picture It! Photo 7.0  ;)

You're welcome Ann, I am by no means a whizz on the pc but I have got used to resizing and modifying photo's.  :D

Just make sure you post a pic of the bag when you've had it done.  ;)

The best way i've found to do this, is to use Photoshops quickmask.  You paint over the bit you want to remove then it changes to an outline and then you can just erase / paint / replace in the area.  Unfortunately there is no perfect way though - because when you remove backgrounds, you'll get a 'halo' of colour or brightness around the subject (from the previous background).
