What spyware remover ?

I know we have had this question before sorry  ph34r ..but just wondered what people are using these days.

My puter crashed this afternoon completely  :o ...could'nt even get windows  :huh: ...after total panic at the thought of no COL  :o :005: I calmed down and hunted out my laptop info.  Fortunately I found a Recovery CD ...not being at all techi had no idea what or if it would work, but it did  :D  Still does'nt seem to be running quite right ...really slow.  Have been having odd things happen for the past few days.

I have AVG virus checker which I update every day and also regularly use Spybot and Ad Aware ...wonder if any of you know of any others I could try? ...thanks  :luv:

Dunno, that's OH department! :005: Got little piccy of Norton Ghost and have got Norton that I know of, but he does pooters as a living - I have no idea of what's on my laptop, tis like the car - can drive it but not service it! :005:

...think I've solved the pc crash and it seems it was'nt a virus/spyware problem  :D  Windows XP put on an auto update to XP3 and it clashed with my Zone Alarm...found some info on the net about it which gave a fix and all seems ok ....fingers crossed  ;)  So if anyone is having probs and has XP it could be because of the update  :D

Regarding the post above, if you have installed SP3 and use ZoneAlarm, you will need to have the new version of ZA for it to work correctly. If you haven't install SP3 - DON'T!!  :005:

Also, spybot is a great program for getting rid of spywere and I think it does virus too.
