Can't get into Windows Mail

Can anyone help please? I can't into my e-mail - error message 0x800CCC0D comes up.

I am having the same problem Sue - seem to be able to send but not receive messages  >:(

I am with Orange - I thought it must be my pc but maybe not  ::)

I just tried getting into my windows email too - about 15 minutes ago - and it said that it was already open elsewhere so I couldn't get into it.

I turned everything off an logged in again and now am able to get in.

Must be a problem nationwide.

Hi Joules, I can't send or receive, I'm with Orange too. I've just phoned the technical support people and got a recorded message saying they're currently having problems with the e-mail service and unless its urgent, to call back later.

Maybe it is a problem their end then Sue - I am getting the same error message as you are  >:(

If you want to get your e-mails you can use Mail2web.com - you just need your e-mail address and password and you can see your new messages although you can't download them.  This will download next time you get messages through Outlook or whatever.  ;)

Thanks for that, Ill give it a try  ;) It's so blurry annoying isn't it....mine's been like this since yesterday lunch time  >:(

Haven't tried mine again yet...will do so now. I suspect we might all have to change our settings in some way, even though its their fault. I've had this happen before, and the tech support people guided me through sorting it, but I'm ashamed to say, I can hardly understand a word they say, cos its always an indian call centre and I really have problems understanding their accent. Thats why I asked on here before phoning them  ph34r

My mail is working fine but I get that same error code when I try and update to the latest version of messenger - not with Orange either  :-\

Yayyyy!  It is working again - have just received 18 e-mails from Friday onwards  :D

None of them had come up on Mail2web last night so it must have been a problem with Orange broadband and not just e-mail  >:(

Hope everyone else's is working again too  ;)
