Powerpoint Slideshows

I received a lovely Powerpoint slide show as an email attachment and would like to share it with COL.   Can anyone advise me of whether or not this would be possible and if so, how and also whether or not there would be copyright issues given that it has already travelled around the world (probably more than once  )

Hmm, not sure if this will work but when you're writing a post there is 'addtional options' just under the white box. If you click this then 'browse', find the powerpoint in your files and click 'ok' or 'attach' then it might work?!
Just give it a go, you never know xx

Thanks Emma.  I haven't noticed that one before.  It looks like it may have been an option but it has a file size limitation of 500 kb and my file is over 2M.   Never mind.  It was worth a try.

Sorry we don't allow attachments on COL (that function was disabled some time ago) but you could presumably upload your file to one of the free file hosting sites and then post the link here so people could see it. There are lots of sites which allow you to upload files for free as long as they're not too big eg http://www.megaupload.com/

Thanks Jane.  I did wonder whether or not such sites existed.  I will give it a whirl later and hopefully I can share the slide show with everyone.
