Sad to see that Lupo, the WCS belonging to William and Kate has died. He was only 9 years old.  :'(

Very sad to see that in the news. James Middleton expressed very well what our doggy companions mean to us and how deep the loss when we lose them.

Kate and William,if you read this, all cocker owners and I,  know how heartbroken you must be. The first photo I saw of Lupo was when he was tearing round the beaches in Wales. What a lucky dog.  I know how awful it is to lose a friend too early.
RIP Marti  the EPI springer age 12,  and beloved black cocker Bobby, 8 yrs old, too soon, from PLN.
Now owned by TInker, tiny hairy grey poodle/terrier rescue from Greece and Jack, local rescue,   scruffy ginger terrier mutt.

Yes indeed such sad news, and at 9 years old, difficult to explain to the 3 young children too about the loss of their dear friend who has been there through their young years.

My thoughts are with them all.....run free Lupo
Cocker kisses and cuddles just make my day!

You are always with me darlings Jaypup and my precious Oliver you are so missed

I have just read the very sad news about Lupo in The Times.  How awful to lose him so young.  He was obviously a very much loved member of their family.  I echo tritonix's comments about James Middleton expressing so very well what it is to lose a doggy companion.  I know he has suffered mental health problems in the past and a beloved spaniel can be a huge comfort in this situation.

Lupo was a lovely looking dog, and obviously much loved.  9 is very young, so sad.
