i'm so stupidly pleased and my oh just doesn't understand so i thought i'd share it with all of you lovely people instead.
this afternoon barkers and i trooped up to the downs and were just getting out of the car when a couple walked past with two spaniels. one was a large springer but the other turned out to be a little five month old worker girl who is just the spitting image of barkley- white chest, same face, same build that he had at that point- it was great!
before this weekend we'd not met any other working-type cockers and now we've met two lovely little girls, both of whom have soon be clambering all over barkley, who seems to love every minute.
i'm also chuffed because the owners of both dogs have both said how pleased they'll be if their dogs are like barkley is at 10 months.
i keep telling them that it's early days and barkers has got plenty of adolescence left in which to rebel, but it's so lovely to hear such praise. we think he's a little star and love it when other people do too.
