What would your dog do faced with this dilemma.

Herbie had a chew but wanted a drink of water.  If he put his chew down to have a drink Mikey would pinch the chew but Herbie really wanted a drink.  Mikey wanted a drink too and so had one and then sat and watched Herbie try to figure out what to do.

Herbie then had a drink without letting the chew go - how he did this I don't know, but it looked like he sucked the water up through his teeth.  Then he momentarily forgot about the chew and dropped it, only for a split second and in that time it was taken by Mikey.

Poor Herbie - he's just no match for Mikey in the brainy department :005:

Only have Glen so I can only imagine what he would do but I imagine he woiuld run off and hide the chew, come back for a drink then retrieve said chew. Otherwise he would just go thirsty.  :005:

Poor Herbie!

I always think Daisy is the more clever of my 2, but Cooper showed his cunning side when he wanted her chew last night.

He sat and watched her closely for a bit but she wasn't taking the hint so he went to the front door and barked as if someone was outside it.  Daisy ran out to join in the barking and Cooper ran back to the living room and pinched the chew.  She was most put out  :005:

Zorro's trick is to wait till Bella carries a chew in and gets settled, then he jumps around in front of her taunting her and yapping in her ear, until she gets annoyed enough to get up and tell him off, and as soon as she lets him get up again he legs it to her cushion, nicks the chew and sprints triumphantly to the crate (which is sacred, once either of them is in there they are 100% safe from any thieving antics, it's they're unwritten rule)!  :luv:

Of course if Bella then goes and gets another chew, Zorro has to have that one too, just so that he can lie on top of it while he chews the other one  ::)

Alfie would just drop the chew, let Tilly pick it up, have his drink and then go and take it off her again.. She's so soft she just lets him have it back  :005:

Maudie would do what she does with all her special things HIDE IT usually under her bed! She does thins with any chew treat etc I think its beacause she was with other dogs for so long she feels the need to hide things!

Ah, bless - that's soooo funny - they're crafty little bu$$ers aren't they?!

Max is a bit dim when it comes to things like that - his sister that we go to visit is WAY more cunning - she hides her chew in her bed then pinches Max's from him & lies on top of hers while she eats his & then gets hers out & he sits there looking soooooo confused - doh!!!  :005:

Tia has to protect her chews from the cat! Not that the cat is interested in them at all, but if the cat comes in then Tia fly's around from one chew to another trying to keep the cat away ::)

They are sooo funny these cockers!!  Herbie noticed a big pile of chocolate wrappers on the table and decided to stuff as many as he could into his mouth so that Mikey couldn't get them.  He then paraded past Mikey to show him what he had and up until that point Mikey wasn't even interested.

Herbie is often caught trying to stuff as many toys into his mouth as possible.

If one of our cats goes anywhere near Maudies food bowl she runns up behind them ( because she is scared of them) and eats as much as she can! The cats dont even want her food! She is so funny! :005:

Barney's the smartest little cookie here. They'll all be having a scrum over the same toy, despite there being enough toys for 20 dogs  ::) , Sapphi and Max will get carried away with the scrum forgetting all about what it started over which is when Barney nips in and nicks it!  :005:

If ever you play ball on the park and take a number of them out with you Ruby will grab the 1st and then always try to sit on as many as she can so no one else can have them ::)

I've known Sonny to have a drink with a ball in his mouth to this day cant figure out how he did it, but no one was going  to have his ball :005:
