My Dad reminded me at the weekend that we used to cook Pearl Barley for our Samoyeds.

The only thing is we can't remember why we were told it was good for them - does anyone know if it would also benefit Cockers????

my sons are always complaining that i cook more for the dogs than i do for them - i have told them they are quite welcome to have the chicken caserole or pilchard cake i make for the dogs on a regular basis :005: somehow they dont seem too impressed.

I hate cooking for myself and OH never mind the dogs :lol2: They get chicken or fish and rice if they're ill and occasionally get a bit of what we're having if it's suitable or I'll do them some extra pasta, toast or scrambled egg as a treat but in general they don't get cooked food, they're on a half kibble and half raw diet so although I don't cook I do defrost ;)
