I'm not sure which aspect of this story I find the funniest - Cockers being chased round the house by a squaking Macaw or the idea that someone eats cream cakes in the bath. :D

I was in M&S earlier and in front of me was a rather charming young lady with - yep you guessed it - a box of cream cakes sitting proudly atop her shopping basket. Having read this thread I couldn't help but picture her eating them whilst reclining voluptuously in the bath. :D She caught me smirking and smiled back - I think she may have been having similar thoughts about me and my bag of Victoria Plums. :D I tell youjust for a moment there was music in the air......... even if it was just Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer blaring out over the tannoy. :D

When you have kids or pets, there is no peace, on the loo, in the bath or anywhere else .... I have the scratch marks to prove it (youngest son being helpful and tipping inquisitive puppy into bath with me who then panicked !!)

Parrots are quite a novel idea though - the beak gives me shivers though ...!!

And I thought it was crowded in my bathroom!  I can really picture this as my friend has a pair of macaws... They are a little large to have in the bath with you!
