Obviously, it goes without saying I feel terrible for those affected by the floods. But in our little world the biggest impact for us is that Millie's Flyball club is cancelled again this week due to the mud :'(
Millie has only been doing it since the Autumn, but she loves it - picked it up like a duck to water! :lol2: I hope she can still remember how to do it! :005:

What a fantastic picture! Sorry to hear you've had your lessons cancelled- we too have had only 1 agility session since the beginning of the year because the ground is just not safe/waterlogged!

I want to try flyball with my lad once he is old enough - it looks great fun.

Is it good fun - especially if your cocker is mad about tennis balls like Millie. Good practice before you start is to do a lot of ball retrieves, especially with 'static' balls (ie not just ones you throw)

I know the feeling, I think we're currently on our 9th week of agility cancelled, reckon it'll be a few weeks before the field is fit for purpose.
I was going to give Max the Winter off anyway & start back at shows in March, but as we've done nothing I've entered a show for February. I know we'll be awful, well I will!! The cockers will probably just be over excited

Love the expression on Millie's face in the picture :luv:

We have been using an indoor equestrian school for the last few months. We have to pay to hire it but we still get our flyball fix! We like to train new dogs over the winter when there are not as many competitions, but I am looking forward to getting back outside.
Good to hear you are both enjoying flyball, I find it is very addictive ;)

And we are going to gatecrash at the end of the month. :005:

We are free the last Saturday of the month, we should be available then. I'll PM you on Facebook before then :)
