Title: posting photo of my dog on the left hand side of replies

Hi I am really not sure how to add a photo of my dog when replying to answers about the topic I posted. Do I need to download irfanview first. Do I create a SMF theme?

I did it using Photo Bucket but to be honest I'm sure there must be an easier way..There is a pin here somewhere if you look further down on the main page, but maybe someone else can offer some help.?

I think a lot of people use photobucket - you definitely need a separate image host as you can't post direct to this site. I use the photobucket phone app (on an iPad) and it's really easy.

I am pretty sure for the picture next to my name and above 'my boys' (avatar?) I went into update profile and uploaded picture from file in My Pictures on computer, not sure how you go about doing it from a phone, unless you upload from phone to computer 1st

Avatars (profile photos) can indeed be uploaded from your computer directly onto your forum profile, no need to use Photobucket for those as the forum converts them into a small photo ready for display.
However photos that you wan't to post into the thread of messages do need to be uploaded via a third party like photobucket.
