Title: Dave's colouring-blue roan with a tint??!!

Hi, Dave is 6 months old now and is a dark blue roan. However, we have recently noticed in certain lights that he looks like he has had a red rinse! It doesn't come out in photos really- I had noticed before that he has tiny tan markings under his mouth too.(although at first I thought it was his dinner!  :005: )
 I definitely don't think he is blue roan and tan but do blue roans ever have a reddy tint?

Yes - the puppy coat can take on an auburn tint ;) When it comes out it goes back to black. They can get brown tinges around the muzzle too from the saliva ;)

It could be "dead" puppy hair - Molo went ginger for a while at around the same age  :005:
