Have you tried turning monitor off and back on? Or pressing the menu buttons under the screen? you should be able to 'ok' the settings then the menu screen should disappear

I've never seen this but perhaps if you right click on it a menu might appear with an option to delete.

Go into Sytems from your start page and go to system resore and go back and put a date that your computer was O/K //I.E if it was O.k yesterday put in yesterdays date...This will take a a while depending out much soft ware you have on your computer...Chris

I've tried turning monitor on & off & pressing all the buttons.
I've even done a system restore - nothing!

Mrs T, I can't click on it, right or otherwise, the cursor goes behind it.

It's a Dell . . . . . . . I have a result, I'm thinking that it is actually my monitor - the on/off button is more like a touch button now & I think that the other buttons are the same! All of a sudden they have worked & I turned it off . . . . . New monitor time???

On my flat screen monitor there are a number of little buttons hidden under the lip by the on/off button. Maybe you accidently touched one of those when you switched it on?

Thanks all, yes I think I did turn it on by accident, but the buttons were not responding.
Think it maybe on it's last legs - 2nd thoughts maybe I should just clean it!!!
Probably caused by spluttering all over it at some humerous posts here & on fb!  :005:

Hi Kim,
Jamie here kalu son. What you'll need to do is there should be a plus, minus, on/off and a menu button click the menu button once then use the plus and minus button to navigate through the menu. Go down to exit and press menu on you're monitor. It may be a back door or just the word exit E.T.C and this can not be controled by you're computer mouse and keyboard E.T.C only the onscreen keys. If you give me you're monitor model and make then i'll be able to show you the precise drection's. :-) Hope this helps.
