Hi,
Does anybody have any tips / advice about how I can stop my dogs pee killing my nice newly grown lawn.
I have tried the rocks but these do not seem to work.
Thanks

The only thing that works here is watering down the urine....so I stand poised with watering can in hand waiting for my girls to perform ;)

I'm going down the artificial lawn route!! :005:

Someone told me once to add a tablespoon of tomato juice to each meal, or half a fresh tomato - apparently the acid in the tomato counteracts the alkaline urine - not tried it though, but it's worth a go.

There is something you can put in their food I think but it's expensive and I can't remember what it's called either!

I don't care if my lawn is 'scorched' - I'd rather have a spaniel then a pristine lawn :lol2:

Hi
Asked this same question a few weeks ago, try Aspall organic Cyder vinegar [half cap] in a full water bowl. Failing that, follow your dog around with a watering can.
