Orange and White / Orange Roan
« on: November 07, 2013, 01:46:07 PM »
Hi

I read somewhere the other night about the recognised Particolours.

I was surprised to see Orange and White then usual Orange Roan and Lemon Roan...looking at Max's colouring compared against the pics he was definately an Orange and White rather than an Orange Roan..i thought these two colours were the same thing?..are they recognised as 2 seperate colours?...just wondering.

..I didnt realise there were so many variations!!

I read somewhere that you could tell by the colour of the pads??  Not sure though.

Your new boy looks very orange roan to me, but I may be wrong - their colour develops like little butterflies.  :luv: :luv:

Yes my boy Fin is very similar to your beautiful old boy, definitely both orange and white. Whereas your new pup certainly looks orange roan, and will turn out like Patp's beautiful Jinley  :luv:
