Cockerpoos
« on: February 08, 2006, 11:00:07 AM »
Hi I am new to this forum but not to Cockersonline.  The cocker is such a wonderful breed that I am baffled why any cocker breeder or poodle breeder would want to breed  cockerpoos.  Are they just cashing in on the new phase of the moment by charging ridiculous prices and making ridiculous claims about the 'breed', these puppies  cannot even be kennel club registered and their breeders are charging in excess of £1000.  There seems such a demand for these pups they have even appeared on the television, I know myself that dog breeding is a very expensive hobby but to charge these prices for a mongrel is mind blowing.  Does anyone else feel the same or am I in a minority?

There is an ongoing thread about designer cross-breeding on the Anything Goes board so I'll close this thread to avoid too much repetition.
