Brilliant Agility Class tonight
« on: January 29, 2007, 09:51:54 PM »
What a great birthday present - agility class went brilliantly tonight  :D

I  ran Molo as a midi and Snoopy as a mini - and was so impressed with both of them  :D They did superb weaves - took the long jump like pro's and even the seesaw and dog walk was taken at speed  :D

It definitely helped having them in the same class - once they had got over their initial greetings, Molo could focus on me again; rather than go looking for Cheryl and Snoopy when they arrived for the next class  ::)

I finally felt as if I knew what I was doing with handling (running two different dogs made me concentrate on it more  ;)) and I think it showed - Molo was totally focused on me for one whole run  :D :D

its blooming hard running 2 dogs, I have to totally change my style when I switch between mine, with Bilbo I do blind changes alot as I can trust him to jump and get ahead of him and trust him to drop onto the side I want, Dobbie is a different kettle of fish, if I blind turn I look down and he aint there, not his fault, I just take it for granted after working Bilbo

Freya and Cockers Bilbo and Dobbie, not forgetting the Springers Willow and Paddy
