Blue roans eye colour

Don't know about dogs, but I have an ebony white chinchilla who has one eye which is half pale blue or white, and half dark brown/black (normal colour!). You have to get up close to her eye to see it is two different colours, but it is fascinating!

our cocker who is nearly one as one blue eye and one brown, its not as noticeable now that shes older but you could see it more when she was really young. i cant remember what the vet said when i asked but it was nothing to worry about, think she said it was a pigmentation thing.
anyway i think it suits our meg.
