Help itunes account won't let us sign in

My daughter had an ipod for christmas and created an account on itunes and bought some tracks using itunes card. No problems until today when my son who had an ipod for his birthday went onto computer and tried unsuccessfully to set up an account for himself. Now every time daughter tries to log in it says her account details are not recognised. To make matters worse she has got £14 left to redeem on an itunes card! Have emailed itunes but wondered if anyone on the forum had any ideas? Thanks. >:( >:(

I hope she gets her £14.00 back
