Teaching Quiet.....
« on: January 07, 2008, 12:55:30 PM »
Poppy just seems to have found her voice and started "proper" barking at things (rather than the getle puppy woofs that she used to do!) and I've read a couple of posts where people have talked about teaching "Quiet" and I wondered if this refered to quiet as in stop barking?

How do you teach this? any advice?

I would be interested in this too.  Sam used to be really bad and he is better, but being able to teach him quiet would be great!!
Dogs are natural optimists and believe if they stare hard enough and long enough, the icing on the cake could be theirs.

That thread was really helpful!  Will start to try this out with Poppy.

Must learn to search properly!  ;)

Thanks - Amanda
