I thought I'd ask if anybody has the same problem as we do & if so, what do you do to stop it?
Alfie likes to let you know that he needs to go out for wee by scratching the door but recently when we let him out he just wants to dig
. You never know if he needs to go or he's playing you
. We try to gauge this by the rough amount of time since his last wee but when I called his bluff, he pee'd by the door
It makes no difference if you supervise him or not, he'll dig anyway & is sometimes a pest to get back in again. He doesn't do it every time & it's not like he needs to wee often but it is annoying when he does it. He gets plenty of exercise & stimulation with walks, games & training so I'm not sure what it's about but my garden is wrecked
Maybe we're not doing the right things to amuse him
