I am sitting here crying as I type this for Elaine and her family.
Old Ralph passed away this afternoon following a major stroke, he was over 15 years of age.
Ralph was re-homed to Elaine's family in February from the Ark in Lincs following at least 5 years in rescue kennels. One of our members transported him up to Oban while she was on holiday.
For the last 6 months of his life Ralph enjoyed more love. life and happiness than he had in the previous 5+ years and some dogs have in a lifetime.
I salute you Ralph, a loving and courageous old boy, you are having many tears shed over you this night.
