Hi, we had exactly the same thing happen with one of our puppies last year. Our vet does free microchipping with puppies vaccinations. We had taken two puppies for their vaccinations and the boy was fine no problems the chip was inserted between the shoulder blades. The girl squealed and blood squirted out and was all over her and my jacket sleeves. The vet said it was fine and this did happen with some puppies. We saddly lost this little girl (from an entirely different reason) 4 days later as she experienced a very bad reaction to the vacination

I'm so sorry to hear about you losing your girl puppy, I was very worried I must admit when I seen the blood at the vet with Rusty but he seems absolutely fine now.
Thanks for you reply and take care.
