Hi There

Bailey looks very much like my Alice (I shall post a pic when we learn how to do it). These narrow-faced, long-eared (and long-legged in Alice's case) reds seem to be a 'type' all of their own. I have seen quite a few around recently, and have seen pics in dog papers etc. They do not fully fit the show-type breed standard but are not working-cocker types (as I understand them) either, at least not to look at.  Interestingly, I met a man in the woods recently who had spent 20 years training gun-dogs, specialising in cockers, (who he said were the very best gun-dogs in the world!)and he watched Alice for a good half hour as we walked around and he remarked on her working-type behaviour: how she moved, responded to me, fearlessness etc. Anyway, thought these comments might interest you
