We cannot believe that you have been gone for a year, Old Chap. You were our precious Gentleman, so loved and adored by us all. You taught us so much, especially the girls as they were growing up, and you are missed more than we ever felt possible, even though there are now 2 cocker spaniels in our lives. You were my friend, my co-driver, my fur therapist and my confidante. Through you we met so many lovely people and we feel truly blessed to have had you in our lives. I still stroke the clipping of feathering I trimmed from you and I wish with all my heart that I could cuddle you again.
It was a privilege to have known you and cared for you my hairy-trousered boy and thank you for all the joy you brought to us all.
