It's official! Dolly is now a registered PAT (Pets As Therapy) Dog!

Just a little bit of news! I received Dollys certificate today she is now an official PAT Dog. Can't wait to take her out on her first visit, I think she will absolutley love it and hopefully she will bring alot of joy to others  :D

This is such an amazing thing to do - depending on how Hector develops in the next few months I will see if he is calm enough to do this.

Congratulations and well done.  This is something I was hoping to do with Barney but at 18 mths he's still a bit too lively.  How old is Dolly please?

Thanks everyone.. I love her to bits :luv: She is 2 in October but she was actually assessed back in April.. it is a long drawn out process from assessement to actually getting your pass certificate as it is all run by volunteers. She flew through the assessment the only problem we had was with her jumping up ..typical spaniel trait but we worked hard on the 'get down' command - (Mark I have finally mastered the clicker! and have to admit it really has helped ;) I found a really good local lady who has helped me no end...) and she is pretty good with it now. I will keep you all posted  :D

Iam really pleased for you My golden Jenny was a Pat Dog for quite a fews years and I stiil send the annual payment, I am hoping Penny will be able to follow on, she already visits Mum in her home and she loves everyone but she she still jumps up sometimes ,.the people really the love the dogs visiting and look forward to you coming. we used to call jenny a hoover because she would try and eat the crumbs off the floor.
