They are back..................Ticks!

Cant believe it- 1st of Feb and I have had to remove 3 ticks from Fred and Kooki.  We are starting back on Billy No Mates immediately and going to get some advantix this week from the vets unless you guys can recommend anything else (Frontline didnt work previously for us!)

Nooooo!  :fear2: not already!  >:D I'd better get some more BNM then, it worked well for us last year.

It's a herbal mix that you sprinkle on food daily to keep fleas and ticks at bay. I found it worked very well for us last year but, like all things, other people had different experiences. It's also available in liquid form.

There's also Verm-X, which I tend to prefer as it comes in little treat-size biscuits and also in liquid form.. http://verm-x.com/dogs.html

Though I think that's more for internal parasites, rather than external.

The O Tom tick twisters are great for removing them if you do get any. You can get them on ebay for about £3  ;)

No not that time already!! >:(  Going to try Billy No Mates this year, Monty hasn't had many ticks in the past, but they totally gross me out so if we can avoid them so much the better.  Having said that, I do get great satisfaction stamping on them - does that make me a bad woman?!! ph34r :lol2:
