My Argos pet insurance has more than doubled(which i know many of yours have)it is probably down to the fact that we claimed for an eye specialist visit as Ruby had "suspected"dry eye.
It turns out she didn't have dry eye or any other named eye condition but he suspected there "may" be an imbalance in one of the components that make tears but was impossible to know which one if it was that at all
,the outcome was to flush her eye with saline every day and give one celluvisc drop to the eye.
At the time i asked the specialist if i was to do this for the rest of her life,he said no i will be able to do it every other day, then further apart and if the jelly in the eye reappears do it more often again.
we want to move to a new insurer and my question is, as she didn't end up with a diagnosed condition does it count as a pre existing condition or am i being dumb
We will be asking the vets, but just wondered what your opinions were
