It is 8 years tonight since I last saw you, held you and buried my face in your fur, yet today it feels like yesterday. It still hurts so much that I had to to let you go sweetheart, if love could have saved you you would still be here, but you were so poorly I had to let you go to the Bridge. I miss you so much and it hurts so much tonight. I wish you were still in my arms and one day you will be sweetheart, but for now you keep playing with all those squeaky toys and the other cockers at the Bridge and carry on being the gentlest, sweetest cocker that you always were.
