Meet Handsome Fred!  He is a gorgeous 8 year old Cocker Spaniel who is being rehomed by the Animal Action Trust, Essex.

Fred is a very affectionate boy who enjoys lots of fuss and cuddles.  He really loves his walks and still has plenty of energy.

He is a slightly nervous lad, especially of larger dogs.  He could maybe live with a smaller calmer dog, but can’t live with cats and will chase them!

Fred is looking for a quiet home and would suit an older person or maybe a retired couple.  He needs a caring confident owner who will bring out his wonderful character.

Fred is in good health.  He has a fatty lump on his chest, which has been checked by the vet, who has said this is nothing to worry about.

Please can you give this beautiful boy a new home.  He will make a loyal and loving companion.

Hope he finds a home soon....my two boys are 8 this year and so full of energy so in my opinion Fred is not old at all yet  :luv:

Bramble and Beri also have several small fatty lumps...I think most dogs do at this age.
