Ramps for IVDD, Elderly Cockers, Arthritis ....
« on: October 15, 2015, 09:58:42 PM »
I just wanted to put a quick post on...this may help another dog who needs assostance getting on sofas or beds.

I've jusf bought a ramp for my boy Blue, he slipped a disc last May and was subsequently diagnosed with IVDD.
Hes been really good staying off the sofa but over the past 3 weeks I've found him on there when my backs been turned, little monkey!

So I decided to get a ramp for him, to be honest I missed him next to me with his head on my knee anyway so it was as much for me as for the sake of his spine LOL

The ramp is wonderful, he took to it immediately. Its fully carpeted with high sides as I knew he would jump off. It was custom made by Gareth Lawrence at Archiesworkshop.com and a really good price for how well made it is.

So if anyone needs a ramp for their dog ......just thought I'd share this tip. This was the only carpet covered ramp I could find.
