Southampton and District Canine Assn Show 10 January
« on: January 08, 2010, 01:19:01 PM »
Just read that in view of adverse weather conditions forecast for Sunday the show has been postponed, but will be rescheduled within the next few weeks.  Hope no-one is too disappointed.

Thank's for that info. That is actually good news for me as unlikely to be able to get there anyway this weekend and have been wondering weather or not to risk it, so hopefully in a few weeks the conditions will be better. I take it our entry will still stand.

Afraid I am new to all this, so have no idea of what policy/practice is in such situations - fingers crossed though that everything will stand, just a different date.

It was going to be Louis's first show and I even braved the start of the heavy snow on Tuesday afternoon to get his first show trim done. He's still very fluffy of course, but now neat and fluffy :lol2:

I live about 10 miles from the show venue so I was (rather unsportingly :005:) hoping that it would go ahead and that the weather would keep all the other Cocker puppies away  :lol2:

Awwww That's a shame for his first show to have been cancelled, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway. You may well have been the only Cocker there.  :shades: :005: Hopefully I will see you on the new date then. It would be lovely to meet you and the gorgeous Louis.  :luv:

Hope you don't have too long to wait for your first show xx

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to post the new arrangements rup17 - not sure I will be able to make new date so will have to rethink!
