I think it's more in the breeding lines. Our previous two were blue roan and my present two are blue roan. Three have been very quiet but Bramble
......is very, very vocal. It's usually means of communicating what she wants or telling tales on Maddie
I like the chatting she does as long as it doesn't become barking.
At agility she barks all the way round, she is a very driven dog.
For those of you old enough to remember 'The wooden tops' we liken her to spotty dog!
The breeder also kept one of the litter and says she's never had such a vocal dog.
