My lovely groomer who I have been going to for 16 years with both my last cocker and now Millie has retired, so am having to find a new one
. She stripped both dogs with a stripping 'tool', (but don't know exactly what) and did a lovely job - it really brought Millie's lighter roan colour out when she did it.
I have taken Millie to a recommended local groomers for stripping and explained what I thought Millie had done, but we seem to be at a disconnect. Millie came back still fairly fluffy on her back in particular and could not see her roan colour coming through. I mentioned this to them and they said that was the best job the coat king they used could do
I would really appreciate any advice on what I should be asking for - I wish I had questioned my last groomer more, so feel a bit stupid
Equally if anyone knows a good dog groomer in West London (where I live) or Woking area (where I work) that would also be appreciated.
