Sustained health and wellbeing advice
« on: September 03, 2014, 10:47:35 AM »
Ollie is 6 years old....I am wondering if I should be giving him anything to ward off things that come along....my late Jay used to have a powder sprinkled on his food, I can't for the life of me remember what it was, other than lasting ages and being quite pricey.

Have wondered about fish oils etc, any ideas would be grateful

Well, here's what my guys are getting and from what age.  ;)

Always: salmon oil or coconut oil

From 7 years on: glucosamine supplement

From 10 years on: CSJ Turn Back Thyme herbs

As and when needed: various others like Aktivait (dementia), vitamin B12 (general muscle weakness), turmeric (anti-inflammatory for arthritis or other bone/joint issues) etc.

Hope this helps.  ;)

Thank you for your reply,  I actually have coconut oil a present at Christmas, never opened, how much would you give, thought would add to his meal.

Am going to google it, see what I can learn.
