02-10-15 Archenar is a 3 year old ex-breeding Cocker Spaniel. Archenar is looking for a very special home as she is so frightened. She is incredibly shut down as she cannot understand the world yet. She is extremely scared and doesn't know how to communicate her worries so and has has the potential to bite through pure fear. It will take time and patience from a person experienced with frightened dogs to be able to give her all the support she needs to bring her out of her shell. She is great with other dogs and only knows how to be comfortable around them so will need a home with at least one kind dog to snuggle with and one with no children who she would find extremely frightening at the moment. Archenar will need gradual introduction to the world and we pray we will find someone who wants to help her with this.

08-12-15 Penny is a 3 year old ex-breeding Cocker Spaniel. This beautiful little cocker spaniel has been returned to MT as her owners were unable to house train her and she had also taken to chasing their cats.  Penny is a very timid dog and when I first fostered her (just over a month ago) she was very shut down. After living in  a home for a month she has improved, but still gives us a wide birth when our paths cross and is still terribly scared of a lot of things. She walks well on the lead but takes some encouragement to get her to leave her warm bed!  She is very friendly with other dogs and so far has shown no interest in chasing our cats, probably because they are a bunch of thugs and she is actually quite frightened of them! Penny is happiest and most confident when with other dogs, so she will need another kind dog to show her the ropes and an extremely kind and patient family to continue to bring her out of her shell.  She will be a project dog but one who will be worth all the effort.
