Penny,

Would it be too late for me to become a home checked fosterer?

I'd have him over the Christmas period.

Aaaww Toni, I think that very nice of you to offer little Charlie a nice xmas holiday - especially when you must have your hands full already. Hope you get him  :D

If you go on to the dogpages site and PM Eileen and see what she says, you never know.

:(  :(

I can't have Charlie   :(

The rescue lady called me yesterday and we set up a meeting on Christmas Eve with a view to me fostering him for Christmas immediately.

But this morning at 6.15am we found that our adopted stray cat who lives in our shed has had a litter of kittens. We have taken Mum and kits into our bathroom from the cold but I really think it would be just too much to have Charlie aswell.

I feel really mean and selfish now, poor Charlie   :(

Aaawww Toni - you're not mean and selfish!!!!!!!!!  It just wasn't meant to be - and the cat and her kits need you and your house too - new-borns would not have a very good chance out in the cold so I think they probably need you more right now.

These things happen, and I know Eileen would understand (I was meant to take 2 pups from her over Christmas but Barney's still here and a bit of a handful!)

I can't log in to dog pages, so have just re-registered but it now tells me that it might take 24 hours before I can post.

I don't want to gazump anyone else, so if someone on here definitely wants to offer Charlie a forever home, please ignore this. AND let me know!

Steve has just heard about Charlie and says he wants him!!!!!!!

If Charlie is still looking could someone please let me have an email address for Eileen so that we can chat about him and arrange to meet up to check compatability etc

Thanks, I have sent a PM.

Hi Annette,

I've just PM'd you too.

He's in our house for Christmas but he's a real gentleman and would make someone a really lovely pet.

Fingers crossed you can have him, I'd love to watch his progress on COL!!!
