CAESAR - Katie, 7 year old Blue Roan show type

Katie is a 7½ year old Blue Roan, show type Cocker Spaniel, whose family live in the USA for half of the year. A good friend usually looks after her in the UK, but they are now not able to take on the committment as Katie has just been diagnosed with Diabetes. The condition has been caught early and Katie may only need one injection a day. The cost of the Insulin will be funded by CAESSR. Katie is used to children of all ages and has also lived with a cat and another dog. She has a really lovely personality. She is good on and off the lead - just pulling slightly on the lead initially. She is an excellent traveller and has travelled to Spain, in the past! She can be left happliy for short periods.

Bless her, hope she finds a lovely home soon.  (Have to say I couldn't leave Ellie for half a year).

I had a call from CAESSR last night...please everyone keep your fingers crossed! my house is going to be assessed..........here's hoping I can give Katie a new home x

Oh fantastic,hope it goes well,this little girl looks so lovely it's not the right time for us but if she had been waiting for long I think I would have found it very hard to resist ;)

Hiya, don't know when it will be Lynn said she would get someone in my area soon to come out........I was so excited when I got off the phone  :005: missed having a dog around....want some doggie hugs! not telling the kids until we have the home assessment organised but so excited!!!
here's hoping keeping my fingers and toes crossed  :D
