Another toy bites the dust
« on: November 11, 2013, 07:58:16 PM »
Bought this rope toy from PAH yesterday

Took Tessa less than 10 minutes to gnaw the ends off!!  Got my money (£4) back today.

Back to the rolled up socks it is then.

I never think to go and ask for money back! One of the things we got for Hudson when we first got him was a plastic bone thing "durable" and "tough" ... Held off giving it to him though since its quite heavy. Anyway, gave him it this weekend since he is teething... within minutes the carpet was covered in bits of pink plastic!! How can that be "durable" !! I imagine it would last mere seconds in the jaws of a bigger dog. I'm definitely giving up on dog toys... so

The label did say the rope toy was not indestructible.  But I did think 10 minutes was not long enough.

All the fibres came loose as well, and I didn't want her eating the bits.

Made a few comments when I took it back though.  Whether they report back to suppliers is another matter!
