We have a KC name, Galaxybears, though we never intend to breed. It was picked when we just had Newfoundlands and luckily for us it was our top choice!

Why Galaxybears? Well I love brown Newfies, and adore chocolate, hence the galaxy bit, bears as everyone says the dogs look like bears :D

Our kennel name came through quite quickly, we heard back from them about a week and a half after applying online. The certificate and stuff arrived the following week.
Hopefully you won't have to wait too long  :blink:
Can I be nosey and ask what your first choice is?

Hi Debz, yes you do. But you get to know which name they've allocated you very soon after you apply. I would be wary of using the name until the 4 weeks after the kennel gazette is published because of possible objections.  :blink:

I really wanted lankye as my daughter is lana and son is called kye :'(
2nd choice was kylan 3rd was kyelan and 4th cayo (were we got married island in cuba )  :005:
Thay were all to close to others apprantly  >:(

I thought about Woodrose but it may be taken, cockers were bred to flush woodcock and they are the English type so the rose describes that.
