hamish had a large patch of white on his chest, now at 6 months it is practically gone

Chloe has never had any white on her from my knowledge but we did get her at 6 months... I did see a litter of mainly solid blacks born though last year and the breeder (also a member of this forum) told me that people who show their cockers often will pluck out any white hairs so even if you get a solid black (for example) with a few it can still be shown, classed as solid black and if you are that bothered just remove!  :005:

When we saw Roxy who is solid black at 4 weeks she had a tiny fleck of white on her chest. At 6 weeks it got a little bit bigger. Now at 7 months it has gone. However when she was trimmed the other weekend we saw a tiny fleck of it coming through again.
