I'm so sorry,
The only person who should feel guilty is her "breeder", you tried to give her what had been missing and you persevered where others would have given up, your Milly will be waiting for you, for you have been her angel and for now she is yours.
Run free at the bridge sweet Milly.

Everyone has expressed what I'd like to say - she was blessed having you as her owner.  It must have been soooo hard but you made the right decision.  Feel comforted that she had a life with someone that loved her and did all that was possible.  The rainbow bridge poem will bring tears along with the hope that you will meet her without her demons one day.

((hugs to you))

Once again so sorry jools  :'(. If I am totally honest I always knew that this day would have to come. Listening to your stories about her totally unpredictable agression and attacks, there was only so long it could go on for. You did amasingly well to manage her for as long as you did, you did the best thing for her in the end. Thank god she had you as her owner.  :-* xxx

What a lovely thing to say.  This expresses exactly what I was thinking, but I couldn't have put it as well as Karen has.

Sorry to read your tragic news.  We had to have our elderly GSD PTS during the summer.  At the time you feel like you're playing God in deciding whether or not their life should be allowed to continue, but at the end of the day you know that you've made the right decision and that it was a decision made because of your deep love for your pet.

I hope you are soon able to put this unpleasant experience behind you and move on to happier times.

Take care,
Penny
