Found this morning after 3 nights out in the cold. We really thought they had been stolen because of the silence, even though they had tags on with their numbers and chipped, but once we put up flyers yesterday we had 3 calls of sightings still in the area Fri morning which gave us hope. They never strayed more than a couple of miles from where they first went missing, and doglost advise they will try to find their way back to where they first went missing, which is what one did after running off after the other had been caught.
Hope this helps anyone who ever loses their dog. It was like losing one of my own as we are close friends, and we will both be making donations to doglost as their help was invaluable.
